The UK is committed to scientific growth and advancement. As part of this commitment, the UK Government established a network of Science and Technology attachés around the world to support the Government's science and innovation agenda. Here in the United States, the S&T Network undertakes a wide variety of activities that benefit the local, regional and national S&T communities in both the U.S. and the UK, including:
Identifying key contacts and bringing together opinion formers and experts
Helping to arrange missions and visits for specific technology sectors
Analysis and reporting on S&T developments in the host country
Raising awareness of UK S&T policy and achievements
Developing links for the UK science base
