Continental Airlines is the official air-travel provider for the
conference. For discount reservations, please call 1-800-468-7022

Ground Transportation:
Located near the Rice campus, the Houston Plaza Hilton Hotel (Medical
Center) is only a 25 minute drive from Hobby Airport and 40 minutes
from Bush Intercontinental Airport. The cost for taxi service is
approximately $40 from Hobby and $60 from Bush. The Hobby/Bush
Airport Express shuttle (destination Medical Center), which stops at
the Hilton Hotel, cost $19 from Hobby and $24 from Bush. Both taxi
and shuttle services are located on the baggage claim levels.

Accommodations:
The Houston Plaza Hilton Hotel (Medical Center) is the official hotel
for the conference.
Please note that the availability of rooms at the conference rate is
limited and will be allocated according to the dates that the
reservations are requested. Guests can make reservations by calling
the hotel at 713-313-4000/1-800-548-8690, and ask to make a
reservation for a group block (Group Name: De Lange Conference, Rice
University).
The Rice Campus Bus Service will provide transportation for the
hotel guests. Copies of the "bus schedule" and "walking map" will be
maintained at the hotel reception desk. The campus conference site is
approximately a 15 minute walk, and the spring weather should make
that a pleasant venture.
